Chris Henry died too young. Loleini Tonga was the NFL star's fiancée and reports have detailed they had an argument and the results are the tragic death of the National Football League player for the Cincinnati Bengals. Henry was only 26 years old. The recap of the events leading up to the accident that caused his death read like a basic domestic argument.

The two fought or argued, and somehow she wound up leaving the home and driving a truck away. Police think he chased her as she tried to drive away, caught her and then jumped in the bed of the truck, but instead of stopping, she continued to drive as they argued.


Though police have still not determined what happened exactly, he would later be thrown from the bed of the truck, his body slamming onto the pavement. He would suffer several injuries, including a head injury that he would never recover from.

He died on Thursday after the Wednesday accident. Police said his death occurred at 6:36 a.m. ET. He was found lying in the road about one-half mile from his home in Charlotte. AOL's celebrity entertainment website TMZ.Com has the accident scene pictures from Charlotte here.

That paper reports in an October interview with the Cincinnati Enquirer, Henry credited his fiancee with keeping him focused on football. She has not been charged as of this time.
