Mariska Hargitay is Proud of Her Body.

Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay says she’s proud of her body. The very sexy and shapely TV actress is not pin thin, but curvy and beautiful and she says she is glad she is no 'skinny actress.'

Long Island Press has more photos of the actress in some sexy poses and she tells Showbiz Spy she's proud to be a size 8 in an industry that is often obsessed with unrealistically tiny sizes.


Earlier she spoke about her first date with her future husband and revealed it was in a church. And the 46-year-old actress says that while she was there an inner voice told her they should get married.

"It was pretty sacred and profound in our life," Hargitay says about going to actor Peter Hermann's parish church on their first date.
"It completely set the tone for our relationship and our marriage."


Hargitay describes herself as a Christian who doesn't go to church every Sunday but she earlier told Good Housekeeping she thinks God has a plan for her life.

In fact the magazine's September cover girl says that something inside told her during her first date that she hadn't married yet for a reason.
"I had been engaged before," says the actress who plays New York cop Detective Olivia Benson.


"But what I felt for Peter I had never felt before.

"A lot of people have doubts on their wedding day, but I was never so sure and happy.

"We were taking care of each other the way you're supposed to when you are married."
