NBC Today host Matt Lauer loved David Beckham's smart suit so much that the England star gave him it to him after his interview. Becks made NBC Today Show host Matt Lauer’s day as he changed into jeans and handed over the well-tailored grey suit. And the host joked that he was not going to wear the suit, but sell it on eBay.

"I admired his suit, he came down in jeans and gave me the suit off his back,” Lauer gushed. “I am selling it on eBay, are you kidding me? His underwear is back in the dressing-room.” In his interview, Beckham told Lauer that during his six-month period playing for AC Milan, he kept in touch with his family by iChat.


“As a family, as a father, it was the toughest time since I have had my boys,” he said. “They came out to see me every eight weeks for a week, but I hate being away from them for an hour, let alone that amount of time.”

Beckham also gave marriage advice to a couple that were getting married later on the same show. “You have to spend as much time on that day together as it goes so quickly,” he said.
