Is the mid-life crisis biker sequel off? Reported plans for a sequel to John Travolta's 2007 flick Wild Hogs may have been scrapped. The movie, Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride, was due to be filmed next summer by Touchstone Pictures with Walt Becker returning as a director.

However, since Rich Ross took the reins at Disney, the plans for the movie have been scrapped.
Actors John Travolta (pictured) Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H Macy were to reprise their roles as a group of bikers having a mid-life crisis. The first movie's writer Brad Copeland had written the script for the sequel and writers were being hired.

More movie news...Sherlock Holmes star Jude Law said he first took on the role in the movie so he could star alongside Robert Downey Jr. The 36-year-old actor plays Dr. Watson in Guy Ritchie's new movie opposite Downey Jr, 44, and said it was working with the star that got him interested in the role.
He said to UK newspaper Daily Mirror: "I don't want to get to an age where I look back and say: 'Oh, I never did that.' That was in my mind when I met Robert Downey Jr for the first time."
"I wanted to work with him, so I said I'd do Sherlock Holmes. Then, of course, two days later I thought: 'What am I doing? I'm going to play Dr Watson and this is insane because is it really what I want to do?' "Luckily it evolved into a wonderful experience, but initially I took it on because of Robert Downey, loving him as a man and the way he talked about how he was going to work."
