Need a date with Edward Cullen? Supposedly single New Moon star Robert Pattinson has said he "still can't get a date" despite having millions of female fans. The 23-year-old actor has denied rumors he is dating co-star Kristen Stewart and plays the role of vampire Edward Cullen in the hit vampire series and has become a heart throb around the world after landing the role.

However, he admitted: "Girls scream for Edward, not Robert. I still can't get a date!" He added: "It's weird. If you try and chat people up, everyone's like: 'You're an actor. You probably sleep with everybody.' Fame does the opposite of what you'd expect."


Robert, who also appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, also said that he wasn't entirely sure that he could act when he first started going for auditions. He added: "I said to my manager: 'I can't do that thing where someone comes up behind you and you look scared.

Robert admitted that fans are sometimes left disappointed when they meet him in real life as he isn't what they expected. He said to Britain's Fabulous magazine: "I wear the same thing every day. I don't know how to use a washing machine. My body runs off junk food."
