NFL Black Monday Predictions 2012 - What Head Coaches and GMs are Getting Fired?
'Black Monday' for NFL head coaches is one day away for 2012 as the National Football League regular season comes to a close on Sunday Dec. 30, 2012.
The day has been dubbed 'Black Monday' for the many firings that are delivered by frustrated owners and or general managers (unless they are also fired).
What coaches are on the hot seat?
What GMs are out the door?
In Cleveland, Browns head coach Pat Shurmur and general manager Tom Heckert are both gone as a new owner Jimmy Haslam takes charge.
In Buffalo, Bills head coach Chan Gailey is likely gone, while general manager Buddy Nix may also be on his way out.
In Jacksonville, Jaguars general manager Gene Smith is almost out the door and may be followed by head coach Mike Mularkey.
In Philadelphia, Eagles GM and head coach Andy Reid will be fired.
In San Diego, Chargers head coach Norv Turner is going to be fired.
In Kansas City, Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennell's experiment is over, he will be fired. GM Scott Pioli may be on the hot seat as well. However Pioli is good pals with Clark Hunt, who inherited the job of owner when his father Lamar Hunt died, so he may get to keep his job because of his friendship with the owner.
In Arizona, Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt may get fired and general manager Rod Graves could also get the axe.
In Carolina, Panthers GM Marty Hurney has already been fired (in October), and head coach Ron Rivera may be next.
On the hot seat, but likely safe...
Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith
New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan.
Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett
Who else should be facing scrutiny as the NFL regular season comes to an end?
