My office pool predictions for week one of the 2012 NFL season are below.

Week two of the National Football League season kicks off on Thursday night with a fantastic prime time football game, the Chicago Bears travel to Green Bay to take on an angry Packers team.

In Las Vegas, the oddsmakers have installed Green Bay as a 4 1/2 point favorite and the over / under is set at 51.

Below this first game synopsis, check out the lines for all of the games coming up for this weekend.

At Lambeau Field (on the NFL network at 8 EDT / 5 PDT) Green Bay is ready to play this week, still bitter about a home field loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, while the Bears are also ready, but they rolled over the Indianapolis Colts last week, 41-21.

Passing numbers…

Chicago QB Jay Cutler should have a good game against the Packers’ suspect pass defense, but Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers will light it up as well, and the scoreboard will reflect a high scoring game.

Expect big passing numbers for both QBs.

Take the over, but skip either side, it's too close to call.

Expect a close Packers victory.
