Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey had loads of reported troubles that led to their separation and Jess filing divorce papers. Was one of the reasons that Nick is too sensitive?

Jess's estranged husband is philosophical about his split from the pop beauty - admitting he was "too sensitive".

The heartbroken singer separated from Simpson two months ago. She has since filed for divorce.

Lachey says, "I'm typically an overly sensitive person, I lay my heart out there too often.

"I've never been shy about crying. Sometimes we're so scared of our emotions that we rob ourselves."

He even added that he sometimes pranced around in Jessica's shoes, calling it 'kinky.' Not sure that's exactly what I'd call it, but to each his own.

Nick seems to be trying to 'soften' his image with this interview. One tabloid dishes that Nick's new soft side is too much information.

Agreed.

Toughen up, Nick. The metrosexual movement is dead.
