Weston Cage was arrested this week (07-20-11) on charges of felony domestic violence.

The 20-year-old heavy metal singer, son of Hollywood star Nicolas Cage, reportedly had an altercation with his wife Nikki Williams which led to him being arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department for the second time in a month.

Weston was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for injuries which police believe to be self-inflicted before being brought to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's office where his bail has been set at $50,000.

Nikki's mother said: "Nikki is safe and away from him."

Earlier this month, both Weston and Nikki were arrested on felony domestic violence charges which resulted in him sustaining a cut to his arm with a bottle and her threatening to jump off a balcony.

Police arrested them both at their Los Angeles apartment and booked them for domestic violence.

The pair, who married in April and recently spent time in rehab together, are currently expecting their first child and Nikki hinted their previous dispute may have been sparked after Weston caught her drinking alcohol.

She said TMZ: "I did drink the night before the arrest. I suppose my hormones got the best of me. That was the only occasion I consumed alcohol since I found out that I'm pregnant and I really regret my decision to do so."
