Nicole Richie is said to be upset that on the police paperwork she received for her much publicized DUI this week she was listed at a scary weight of 85 pounds. Who can blame her - the rail thin reality TV starlet looked fabulous at the American Music Awards show in late November and certainly looked healthy.

She looked so good - many believed that she had some work done at some point and may have received breast implants.

The Bosh pointed out that When Nicole showed up to the American Music Awards in a sparkling strapless gown on November 21, she turned a lot of heads. It seemed that Nicole had been gaining weight lately and it all ended up in her chest. But a source for the National Enquirer claims that Nicole's new cup size wasn't a result of healthy eating.

The Enquirer story went this way: "Nicole has worked hard to put on some weight, but she also got breast implants from a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon about six weeks ago," a source close to the actress told The Enquirer.

"The effect has been amazing. She looks great and feels great. And her new boobs have given her more confidence than she's ever had before."

The troubled wild child, who has been under medical treatment to add pounds to her 5-foot-2 frame, has been the subject of eating disorder speculation for the past two years. But in the last few weeks, she's emerged looking healthier and rounder than she has in years.

The Enquirer claimed that not only had it confirmed Nicole's breast augmentation with a well-placed source, but a leading doctor who examined photos of her agreeed with the mag thatthere is no doubt what's behind Nicole's sudden growth spurt.

So - what gives? Did she have implants? Again according to the Bosh, the story seems to have some holes noting, "While the source claims Nicole had the surgery six weeks ago, Nicole was still looking flat as a board at the Playstation 3 launch on November 8. Perhaps her new stylist just found her a really good push-up bra for the AMAs.

Does she really only weigh 85 pounds and did she get her breasts done - no one seems to know for sure. The mystery continues.
