James Van Der Beek is going to be a dad and announced on Twitter that his girlfriend Kimberly Brook is pregnant. The former "Dawson's Creek" star announced the news with an online tweet, writing: "Yes, it's true - the woman I love and I are expecting our first child," he tweeted Friday.

"Currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed." Congrats to the star and his and girlfriend Kimberly Brook.

More baby news an TV stars - Grey's Anatomy star Jessica Capshaw has confirmed she is pregnant with her second child. Capshaw, 33, and husband Christopher Gavigan have stated through their rep that they are expecting another baby later this year.


The actress' rep told PEOPLE: "They are thrilled." Capshaw and Gavigan, who is the CEO of national non-profit Healthy Child, Healthy World, already have a two-and-a-half-year-old son Luke. Capshaw is the daughter of actress Kate Capshaw and step-daughter of award-winning director Steven Spielberg.

Talking about the pregnancy, a source told Life & Style: "It's kind of funny timing given that her character's storyline on the show involves her not wanting to get pregnant."
