John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston are thrilled to be expecting another baby. The Hollywood superstar and his actress wife announced the happy news on Travolta's official website.

The mom-to-be, 47, is reportedly three months pregnant. It will be the third child for the couple, whose teenage son Jett died in early 2009 after a massive seizure at the family's Bahamas holiday home.

They also have a daughter Ella Bleu, 10.


Confirming the news, Travolta told fans on his website:

"It's impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as this.
"We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.

"Love, John, Kelly and Ella."


Last week, the family suffered another loss when their two beloved pet dogs were accidentally killed in a freak airport accident in Maine.

Recently, Jerry Macguire star Preston inadvertently dropped hints about pregnancy when the couple met up with fellow Hollywood royalty Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.

"Kelly only drank club soda," a source told RadarOnline.com.
