Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom has revealed that he suffers from dyslexia. The 33-year-old actor said he has battled with the disorder throughout his career and said it has been "an ongoing struggle".
Speaking at the Child Mind Institute, he said: "I have more trouble studying scripts and memorizing lines that most [other actors]."
Bloom revealed how his mother helped him confront his dyslexia.
He said: "My mum used to tell me: 'If you read 50 books, I'll get you a motorbike.' So it inspired me to read a lot and work through [my dyslexia]. But I never quite got to 50. And I never got that motorbike!"
