There were early reports after what police described as a suicide attempt that Hudson was so distraught after hearing the news of Wilson being rushed to the hospital that she broke down on a film set where she was working. Reports have said that she has moved on and wouldn't want a reconciliation.

But does Owen? His family reportedly wants him to have a recovery free of Kate Hudson and they want him to swear her off while he gets better a report from Us Weekly magazine claims.


Us reports: "The family doesn’t want Owen to talk to Kate, because her friends are talking smack about him," says a source. Still, the Wilson clan isn’t angry with Hudson. "It’s not about Kate,” says an insider. “It’s about Owen getting better." The online item claims that Wilson is recuperating at home and is using laughter to heal. Wilson screened Billy Bob Thornton’s new comedy, Mr. Woodcock. “He thinks it’s hilarious,” says a source.

Another source who has seen the actor, 38, tells Us, “He’s not crying or drinking. He is normal.” Good news, since it seems Wilson’s wounds are more emotional than physical. Though sources (including his attorney) have said the actor cut his left wrist, photos show him with a watch, not bandages, on that arm.
