The 2010 NCAA football season kicks of on Thursday September 2, and college football fans look for any advantage they can find to beat the oddsmakers' lines in Las Vegas. On the west coast, players especially look to the Pac 10 for an edge.

| Pac 10 Picks 2010 - NCAA Football Odds, Selections Week One. |
Many football handicappers thrive on college football, especially in the early week and weeks one and two as there are so many mismatches, and despite high point-spreads and heavy favorites many of the larger schools can cover.

Some selections: Vince Grippi of the Spokesman-Review has a full list here for the Pac-10 games and for the UCLA at Kansas State game likes the Wildcats writing: "Kevin Prince has missed a lot of practice time with a bad back. The Bruins' offensive line may not be able to keep him off it."
His prediction Kansas State, 24-14. The Wildcats are favored by 1.5.
***
Another selection in the PAC-10. Oregon State at Texas Christian (TCU is favored by 13.5).
This game will be played in the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. Everything points to the Horned Frogs, including TCU's 15-5 ATS record playing as a favorite and their 6-3 ATS record against BCS teams.
The crowd will be all TCU. Lay the near two touchdowns. My prediction, TCU 40-17.
