Is there trouble in Paris? Reports and rumors have surrounded Paris Hilton and Paris Latsis seemingly from day one. This time a report in a British tabloid makes the claim that Paris Hilton has called off the wedding.

The reason, reportedly Paris Latsis didn't bother to tell his parents he'd proposed.

In what it is calling an exclusive the British tabloid "News of the World" claims a source gives this account in an article titled 'Paris: It's over.'

"It was like a bad scene out of 'Meet The Parents'.' Two of the world's richest families meet to celebrate their kids' engagement, but one set of parents know nothing about it."

A sidenote: Wouldn't that be more like "Fools Rush In" with Salma Hayek and Matthew Perry?

Regardless, NOTW writer Rav Singh notes, My source added: "Paris was mortified. She was further upset when she met his parents because they kept asking her tough questions about culture and art."

"It turned into a farce."

Well, no one likes tough questions about culture and art. Earlier reports have noted that Marianna Latsis Kourkoulos, the mega-wealthy mom of Paris Latsis, was furious once she learned of Paris Hilton's sex tape with former beau Rick Solomon.

And Gregory Kasidokostas, (Latsis' dad) thinks his 22-year old son is too young to get married.

This is all contradicted by Paris Hilton as late as last week The Sun grabbed this quote from the blonde dog-toting socialite:

"(Paris and I) are really happy. We had an amazing summer in Europe together. Everything's amazing. We were looking all over Greece and we found some really beautiful places. Right now I'm finishing up work and then we'll do the wedding."

On or off? It's a tough call, but one thing is certain--the rumors will persist.
