Pet Food Recall Can't Save Playboy Playmates' Pussycat: Lawsuit Filed
The massive pet food recall that has pet owners worried and checking dog and cat food labels has claimed an unknown amount of lives of American's pets. And when that happens it will even claim celeb pets and this time it is reportedly a pair of Playboy playmates pussycat. The 'Barbi twins' are making the claim their beloved kitty was killed in the contaminated pet food mess -- and now they're busting out in front of a class action lawsuit against some of the world's biggest pet food manufacturers, reports TMZ.

And the former Playboy Playmates are asking for unspecified damages to cover veterinary bills, attorneys' fees and other costs, including burial and disposal costs, according to the newsroom at TMZ.com. The Playboy Playmates turned animal rights activists, Shane and Sia, along with Shane's actor husband Ken Wahl, make the allegations in a suit filed this week in Los Angeles County Court
Menu Foods, another of the firms listed in the class action suit, recalled 60 million cans and pouches of pet food in March, after discovering a chemical in their food was found to have caused kidney damage in cats and dogs.
