The actress daughter of Meryl Streep, Mamie Gummer (pictured, left) is engaged to Ben Walker, an actor. Gummer has appeared in a number of films including Evening and Taking Woodstock.

She has long blonde hair and a strong facial resemblance to Streep, one of the all-time greats. Gummer and Walker have been dating for about 18 months and are co-stars in a Broadway production of Les Liasions Dangereuses.


Gummer, 26, said: "He proposed two days ago. He did it on one knee!" The budding actress was nominated for the 2007 Lucille Lortel Award for Best Featured Actress for The Water's Edge.

Mamie and Ben have been dating for around 18 months.

They met while working on a film together, and went on to star alongside each other in Broadway play 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses' in spring 2008.
