Pippa on an earlier date in France - who's her new boyfriend?

Pippa Middleton is playing the field in the US, taking advantage of her sister's royal celebrity to spend some time with handsome hotelier Andre Balazs — and the night chatting with former New York Ranger Sean Avery, according to the NY Daily News.

She is also spending time getting to know with Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford.

The 28-year old British party planner with the famous ass reportedly introduced herself to Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford, 27, at hip hotspot Electric Room inside the Dream Downtown this week, according to Us Magazine.

"They didn't party together but they spoke for 10 minutes," an insider tells Us Weekly exclusively. "They had never met before but Chace has met Prince Harry a couple times."

The News reveals the "newly single Middleton has been famously on and off with long-term boyfriend Alex Loudon and has not been linked with anyone since the last time they called it quits."

Why is she here?

Middleton is reportedly in New York to attend meetings around the release of her book, “Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends,” due out Oct. 30."

An earlier report revealed her sister Kate Middleton, now officially Britain's Duchess Catherine has been giving her sister tips on working in America.

A source close to Catherine said to LOOK magazine: "Kate clearly wanted to show that Pippa is truly back in the royal fold.

"The pair have been spending more time together and Kate's even been giving her some tips for her promo tour around the USA when she launches her party planning book there in October."

It was previously claimed that senior royals felt Pippa wouldn't be able to promote her book, 'Celebrate', in case it embarrassed her sister.

A source said recently: "She would normally be expected to appear on every chat show under the sun.

"I know she won't do anything that she hasn't run by the duchess' advisers, but it is still a very tricky situation."

Despite being offered the chance to have the tome ghost-written, Pippa - who rose to fame as her sister's maid of honor at her April 2011 wedding - has insisted on writing it herself.

The source added: "She was offered a whole host of ghost writers but said no to them all and is very proud that it is all her own work.

"I just don't think she appreciated how much work it would take and may need some help from her editors."
