Pop Two: The NY Post reports that American Idol's Jennifer Hudson, who has not performed in public since the horrific slayings of her family members in October, is being sought for a return to the stage by none other than President-elect Barack Obama. The source told the New York Post's gossip column, Page Six: "Organizers want Jennifer to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at the Inauguration on January 20.

Pop Three: It's a La Vegas New Year's Eve celebration. While the people in Times Square braved temperatures that hovered around zero degrees they were red hot in the Casino.
