Real Life Sex Panther (Video) Burger King Releases Meat-Scented Cologne

Dec 18, 2008

Is smelling like a burger a good idea to capture a little female attraction? American fast food giant burger king has released something they call a meat-scented cologne and CNN takes a little mocking swipe at the commercials by comparing them to a scene from the cult classic "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" (Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate).
Can Meat-Scented Cologne Make you a Real Life Sex Panther?

In the scene the cable news network pulls from the film, Paul Rudd's character Brian Fantana rambles on about fictional cologne called "Sex Panther" and notes that it is illegal in nine countries. The segue from the movie by CNN goes right into "Flame" the meat-scented cologne that will be for sale for under four bucks.

The video is here including another creepy photo of the burger joint's 'King" nude on a bearskin rug. Backseat Cuddler has this, "When I saw this my jaw dropped. For real. I cannot believe that Burger King is selling a scent that smells like a flame-broiled burger!"

In the CNN spot one of the male workers gets doused with the cologne while random women on the street are encouraged to come up and take a whiff. Did Flame pass the test? Some of the ladies thought the guy smelled pretty good.
