Rebecca Romijn & Jerry O'Connell Set a Wedding Date
The long engagement may be over. According to a report, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell have set a date for the wedding. When quizzed earlier about the hold up on the date Rebecca assured fans that it was coming.
"There will be a wedding. It's not going to be anything like La Dolce Vita TomKat." Rebecca said, detailing that her wedding will be a little more sedate than the recent wedding of Tom Cruise and the fabulous Katie Holmes, according to Starpulse.
Now according to Star Magazine the wedding will be at their ranch near L.A. on Jan. 6, 2007.
Citing friends of the couple as a source, the weekly entertainment magazine details in a report online that after a 15-month engagement, The X-Men: The Last Stand star, 34, who was married to ER's John Stamos for almost six years, convinced her two-year younger fiancé to exchange vows at their Wagon Wheel Ranch before just 20 close friends and family.
"For Jerry, this will be his first marriage and he wanted to make it a big deal, but Rebecca held her ground," a friend tells Star writer Roger Hitts.
Nevertheless, to keep the groom-to-be happy, "Rebecca agreed to let Jerry plan a party a few weeks after the wedding where everyone can get crazy!" adds another buddy.
People Magazine reported earlier that the couple spent Thanksgiving at home for the first time. "All the family is coming to our house, all the parents," Rebecca told the magazine.
Nothing like parents gathered at turkey day to give the couple a little shove.
