Representatives for Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon deny she has split with her serious beau, Jake Gyllenhaal. The report percolated out of Hollywood over the weekend that the top-dollar actress, 33, and dashing actor Gyllenhaal, 28, had called it quits.

But in breaking news, representatives for Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal denied the reports. "It is not true. They are still together," said Nanci Ryder and Carrie Byalick, who represent Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal respectively.


The pair were seen on romantic sojourns in Europe over the summer and seem to have all the makings of a Hollywood power couple.

They regularly travel to Ojai, California, for holidays with Witherspoon's two children, Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6, from her former marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
