Is Kristen Stewart really Robert Pattinson's girlfriend off-screen? For now, he is trying to avoid answering head on. Rob Pattinson has ducked a question about dating Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. The 23-year-old actor appeared on Late Show with David Letterman when the host presumed: "You're actually dating. Am I right about that?"

Pattinson replied: "I've been so cryptically avoiding this question throughout the entire interview." To which Letterman responded: "Oh, bite me. What do I care?"


Pattinson laughed and Letterman left it at that. Later on in the interview the young star recalled one male fan who asked him to bite him at a premiere. "There was a guy, maybe 230 pounds, Hispanic looking - and he was asking me to bite him as well. So I did. And the surprising thing was I quite liked it and I've had to deal with him a couple of times since."

Pattinson made his name playing Edward Cullen in the 2008 movie Twilight, based on the Stephanie Meyer novel. The film's sequel is out this Friday and is expected to break box office records when it is released.
