Robert Pattinson used his appearance on a talk show yesterday to get a few things off his chest. The Twilight hunk revealed how he was previously misquoted about commenting on his appearance.

He said: "I saw an interview the other day with a fictitious quote saying that I was proud of my abs. I was like, 'I would never say that in an interview!' “I actually saw the film [New Moon] yesterday and I was like, 'Yeah. This is the first time I've ever been proud of my physical appearance in my entire life.’"


Pattinson also talked about the moment a female fan stripped off for him after he asked her to as a joke. He said: "I immediately regretted saying that. I was like, 'God, I sound like I'm actually just abusing my position'. It was after a period of signing 500 signatures and you always have kind of 10 seconds with each person and nobody will say anything, and I got a little bit bored with just saying, 'Yeah, hi, how're you doing?'"

When the female fan asked Pattinson what she could do to get his attention, he recalled telling her: "Um, just take your clothes off." "She stood there and like frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security. I've never felt more terrible," he added.
