Robert Pattinson Wrote Love Songs for Girlfriend Kristen Stewart Right Before Cheating Scandal Exposed
Heartbroken Robert Pattinson reportedly penned love songs for his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart right before she was exposed in a cheating scandal by Us Weekly.
In the latest issue of Black Book magazine, the Twilight hunk says he wrote and sung love songs for KStew, 22 - who has just been photographed kissing the 41-year-old director and married father-of-two Rupert Sanders.
The 26-year-old heartthrob said that when he first moved to Los Angeles, before his mega-stardom exploded, he would sing at open mic nights in tiny bars like “The Rainbow Room”.
The yearning songs he performed had been written with Kristen in mind.
"They sounded a bit like Astral Weeks," he told the mag.
“I was just trying to rip off Van Morrison,” joked the British star who also confessed that the audiences were tiny - about three other performers and the bars’ waitress.
Pattinson alluded to fond memories of this time, while he was still a Hollywood nobody and could move around freely un-noticed.
He said getting famous attracted parasites.
“My circle of friends narrowed pretty quickly, he said.
“I like to be the parasite, not the other way around.”
Pattinson, who has just moved out of the home he shared with Kristen Stewart before her fling with Sanders, told the magazine that his fame led him to spend most of his time indoors, reading scripts or being driven around to press events in a blacked out SUV.
“I’m a terrible driver,” said Pattinson, who is worth $62 million.
“I learned by people crashing into me.”
