Rosie O'Donnell is under fire from the ladies on 'The View.' The shock jock bullied her way around the set and over the airwaves for nearly a year but now there is a bit of push back from her one-time docile hosts. Barbara Walters schooled Rosie earlier this week, and today it was Elisabeth Hasselbeck's turn. Elisabeth is usually regarded as a lightweight quasi conservative that tries to 'be nice' as Rosie spouts her fringe nonsense.

Not on Wednesday. The former 'Survivor' contestant blasted Rosie and O'Donnell looked stunned as she tried to fight off the ambush of truth from Hasselbeck. Rosie has been trying to convince anyone that will listen that even though she said the US was a state sponsor of terror and claims that 600,000 innocent civilians have been killed in Iraq that she doesn't believe that US Troops are terrorists. It's no longer flying as ABC is now holding Rosie accountable for her outrageous charges.

TMZ gives the blow-blow. It quickly got personal when Rosie, clearly still miffed that Elisabeth hadn't defended her over the whole soldiers-as-terrorists fracas, demanded to know whether Hasselbeck really thought Rosie felt that US soldiers were terrorists, "as my friend, since September." When Elisabeth didn't give her a yes-or-no answer, the verbal fisticuffs began in earnest. In fact, producers saw fit to go split-screen, just to amp up the volume.

Name-calling ensued, with Rosie calling Elisabeth "cowardly," and Elisabeth spitting back at Ro that she's not "poor little Elisabeth," even smacking down guest co-host Sherri Shepherd's suggestion that she chill for the sake of her unborn child, saying, "The baby's FINE."

Like most bullies, Rosie is clueless how to respond when she is challenged. She's fortunate she was allowed to spew her hatred for so long unchecked. If she continues her lies on Iraq (600,000 dead?) she may explode before her contract mercifully ends.
