Russell Brand says Noel Gallagher told him to agree to anything his fiancée Katy Perry wants. The British comedian is planning to wed the singer later this year and the pair are busy finalizing the details of their nuptials.

While Russell has joked he would like a soccer-themed wedding to pay tribute to his beloved West Ham team, he accepts Katy needs to have the final say on any decisions. However, his close musician friend Noel has now advised him he should continue to bow to Katy’s requests once they are married too.

“My instruction from Noel Gallagher was just to say yes to everything,” Russell told British television show GMTV. “Not just with the wedding, but the relationship in general. And it works. But someone else told me not to look like I don’t care, so not to say, ‘Yeah, I’m not bothered about finger food, I don’t care about napkins, look at me I’m crazy.’

“You have to make it look like you are interested. So I am agreeing to things while caring.”

Russell also addressed rumors he and Katy are planning to wear matching latex outfits for the ceremony. The comic insists he hasn’t selected an outfit yet and will only decide when they have chosen a venue for the nuptials.

“I don’t know what I am going to wear yet. I think it will be affected by the weather of the country that we have it in – which is yet to be selected,” he explained.

“But I am very happy. I have been doing a lot of exercising and behaving well. I think perhaps that has been reflected in the whole package, my package has never been so happy.”

It has been claimed the couple are set to wed in India.
