Robert Wagner has a new book out and what would it be without some sort of a confession of a secret love affair. Robert Wagner, the 78-year old actor and now a TV pitchman has penned a new memoir totled "Pieces of My Heart," in which he admits to a 4-year secret love affair with US actress Barbara Stanwyck.

Certainly Barbara Stanwyck was very sexy and a fine catch for what sounds like the original cougar romance, but what is with all of these old folks making decades ol confessions about secret love affairs from years ago.


According to the Los Angeles Times, Stanwyck and Wagner had a secret four-year relationship in the 1950s when he was in his early 20s and she was in her mid-40s. "She was a wonderful woman," Wagner says. "She was such a big part of my life." The Times notes that Wagner has known as one of the nicest guys in Hollywood, the actor admits he's astonished at the age range of his fans.

Wagner had several TV roles, including "Hart to Hart" and "It Takes a Thief". Stanwyck starred in movies such as, "Double Indemnity" and "Stella Dallas".
