Michael J. Fox is returning to television screens and will be back on with the edgy and brilliant FX drama "Rescue Me" which stars bad boy Denis Leary as a fireman that is riddled with personal problems (though he does bed a bevy of beauties like Gina Gershon and Marissa Tomei) from his guilt for surviving 9/11 when so many of his friends perished.

The series really stalled because of the writer's strike but when it returns veteran actor Michael J. Fox willgive the show a little bit of a boost and he will also provide what sounds like some sexual tension for Janet.


According to a report from Right Celebrities, Michael's "return to the small screen will feature the actor as a love interest of Janet’s, the ex-wife of Tommy, played by actress Andrea Roth. The Rescue Me guest star will appear in a four episode arc in the beginning of the fifth season, which kicks off sometime in the Spring of 2009."

Fox said of the role: "The funny part is me playing a paralyzed guy because I am the opposite of paralyzed. It's tricky just to even be still.
