Rock guitarist Slash and Dora the Explorer are a new team for charity. The odd couple will team up for a good cause and they will have some assistance (with plenty of curves) as Shakira and Salma Hayek will also contribute to the project.

SMN News reports that children's TV network Nickelodeon is creating a limited-edition series of celebrity-designed backpacks for auction this summer.


The report adds: "With more participants to be announced shortly, we are delighted to inform you that your favorite chain smoking guitarist Slash will (put) his own "personal touches" on designing a special Dora the Explorer themed backpack."

WENN reports, "Limited numbers of the backpacks will be put up for sale in countries across the world including the U.S., Britain, Canada, France and Spain, and money raised from the auction will benefit childhood education programs in each respective country."
