Snoop Dogg is reportedly planning to create a family sitcom.

The 39-year-old rapper will star as the father in the joint project between himself and sitcom veteran Don Reo, which has been set up at Warner Bros TV, according to Deadline.com.

Snoop has branched out into acting in recent years, having starred in Fox sitcom Brothers and just landed a role in forthcoming biopic, The Legend Of Fillmore Slim.

Meanwhile, Reo has made a name for himself working on hit shows such as Everybody Hates Chris and My Wife And Kids.
