Kareem Abdul-Jabbar should know a bit of his own movie history but when asked a question on the popular TV game show Jeopardy from host Alex Trebek he missed the shot! The question was about a line from his own character from the cult classic "Airplane" where Jabbar plays the co-pilot.

USA Today has the video here and this...The answer is - For $400, up came: "Tell your old man to drag this '70s UCLA & Trail Blazer center (& Lanier!) up & down the court for 48 minutes."


The winning response would have been "Who is Bill Walton?" Instead, he answered "Who is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar?" Oops!

The quote was originally uttered about Walton, by Abdul-Jabbar playing himself but posing as pilot Roger Murdock in the classic comedy Airplane.
