By Jo Anne Way

It appears there may have been some spying going on that involves California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife Maria Shriver. The First Lady of California is reportedly another one of the high profile cases that were involved in a scandal where at least one staff member at the UCLA Medical Center investigated confidential records without permission of the patient or the hospital.

She now joins such high profile names as Farrah Fawcett and Britney Spears that were the subject of some preying eyes that were looking into the records of stars and other high profile personalities that were treated at the Center.

"We are very concerned by what appears to be a pattern of repeated violations. It’s not a question of will we take action. It’s determining what level of action to take,” said Kim Belshe, secretary of the state’s Health and Human Services Agency quoted by the Los Angeles Times.
Dr. David Feinberg, chief executive of the UCLA Hospital System apologized personally for the breaches on Sunday, naming the employee who did this as “rogue.” The hospital fired her in May 2007 after learning of the breaches. "This person should not have been looking at those records,” he said.
