Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle has been taken ill with stomach cramps that landed her in hospital, according to reports. The overnight singing sensation took ill with severe cramps in the early hours of the morning at her home in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland.

But a source close to her management company said:"Susan is absolutely fine. We have no further comment to make."


Boyle, 48, had tests and left the hospital after two hours while her management worked to allay fears among fans that she had swine flu. One fan told a local radio station: "Stomach upset is one of the symptoms of this flu-like illness that is going around. That's why I’m praying for Susan’s health and posted a prayer for her in the praying thread."

Boyle had a nervous breakdown after competing in the final of Britain's Got Talent and she was admitted to London's Priory Clinic for a few days in June.

She has since gone on to record an album and meet promotional engagements in the United States.
