Singer Taylor Swift has revealed that ‘unlucky’ number 13 has brought her nothing but good fortune – and that she even had it written on her hand during a TV interview. The country starlet, who was appearing on a TV talk show, said: “I love the number 13."

The adorable crossover star continued: "I was born on December 13th, my first album went gold in 13 weeks… “The other night, before the Grammys, I saw 13 so many times before they announced the nominations, and it ended up being a really good night.”


But she admitted that her worst-ever gig happened when she was aged 13. She said: “When I was 13, I would play… these acoustic shows, I would go to these bars. “One time, I was playing in a bar at a rock festival and I was sitting up on stage and my guitar is bigger than I am.

“I’m like, ‘This is a song I wrote about a boy in my class’. And these guys are standing there with their beers and they’re like, ‘Take your shirt off!’”
