Taylor Swift is suing a sports bar in the for playing her songs without permission. The 19-year-old singer has attached herself to a copyright infringement lawsuit spearheaded by music royalties enforcers BMI.

According to TMZ, a lawyer connected to the case revealed BMI deployed a spy to stake out The Sports Cellar bar in Idaho sometime last year and they found the bar was playing music, including songs of Swift's that they hadn't paid for. It has been reported that they allegedly used the stolen music for karaoke. Swift and BMI are suing the bar for unspecified damages.


More music buzz...Singer Rihanna was said to be fuming when her driver arrived three minutes late to pick her up from a London club. The 21-year-old singer was waiting at the back door of a VIP club when she started pacing up and down.

An onlooker told UK newspaper the Daily Star: "She was with a massive entourage and one was on the phone to the driver, asking where he was. "Suddenly Rihanna started shouting in the face of this guy, saying, 'Where the f*** is my car?'

After another minute, she squawked, 'I mean it guys, you've now got 30 seconds to get me my car or someone is losing their employment. I f***ing mean it, 10 seconds and I get nasty'." However soon after her driver came flying around the corner to pick her up. The spy added: "The driver was so panicked, he almost drove the wrong way down Piccadilly Circus."
