Does Teen Mom Leah Messer want to be the next Kate Gosselin?

A report from In Touch Weekly claims Leah has set her sights on the kind of fame Gosselin once had (right now Kate is selling a celebrity cruise with her as the star) and they say Messer is having twins.

“She just found out last week,” an insider tells In Touch. And instead of feeling completely overwhelmed by the news, the cash-strapped teen mom “is absolutely thrilled” to be having two babies with new man, Jeremy Calvert.

The report saysthat "friends of the reality star tell In Touch that although the nursing student is currently flat broke, she believes the new twins are her ticket to fame and fortune."

"She thinks the babies will help her get her own spin-off show,” the insider explains. “And that means a much bigger salary!”

Indeed, friends say Leah is determined to become an even bigger star than former Jon & Kate Plus 8 matriarch Kate Gosselin. “She wants her own series and her own brand, just like Kate!” the insider says.

For her part - Leah says no twins.

“Thank you @intouchweekly for telling me I am having twins again, love bad reporting and fake stories, it does sound like a Soap Show!” the MTV star tweeted Thursday to her more than 300,000 followers.

She didn't deny she was pregnant.
