I thought the Brits were refined. "The Bachelor: London Calling" is absolutely plodding along and we are now down to nine contestants and Matt Grant seems to favor Shayne Lamas, apparently because she is a wannabe actress and the daughter of Lorenzo Lamas. Watching the show last night, I would normally not wish Shayne on any man, but these two deserve each other.

I'm now pulling for Shayne. The British bachelor seems to have a Paris Hilton vocabulary as he overuses the word "Hot" like the dog-toting socialite. At some point last night he said that he was in a hot car going to a hot place with a hot girl. Thanks a lot for sending this dolt over from Britain.


Shayne has an equal vocabulary and is as clueless as it gets. Even blogger Michael K has turned on her. He was a fan but after last night he says "she committed an unforgivable sin, adding, Unforgivable I tell you!" "Shayne finally got her one-on-one date with Matt. They went to taste rotten grapes and Matt again pressured Shayne on who her famous daddy was. I don't know why Shayne hasn't told him before? She's either embarrassed or she's trying to get him (going) with anticipation."

He has video here and adds, "So this is when my heart stopped. Shayne said, "My father's name is Lorenzo Lamas. He was on this show called Renegade." Rene-what? Rene-who? Rene-NO! How can you not mention Lorenzo Lamas' name without mentioning his excellent work in the epic known as "Falcon Crest." I'm not sure how many more weeks of this I can take, the women are boring and Matt Grant is a just an absolute bore.
