The Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas has found her man, but if first impressions would have been the key, professional snowboarder Jesse Csincsak, 26, might have been out at the start. People magazine reports that Jesse believed he would be cast just to be the "goofy guy in the corner" for the ABC Reality TV show.

The magazine reports that the self-described "long-haired skinny kid" wasn't sure he had much to offer the lovely Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas, 26. "I can't compete with those guys who are good-looking and have the big muscles," Csincsak recalls thinking, according to the article.


But he won the heart of DeAnna Pappas and the two are engaged and will be married in may of next year in May in the Bahamas. Csincsak who got down on one knee and pulled out a 2.3 carat princess cut diamond ring, got a big-time "Yes!' from DeAnna. "I feel blessed," he says. "Nothing else matters when I'm with her."

Not only did Pappas giddily accept his proposal, but their romance, watched by more than 7 million viewers, brought the reality franchise its best buzz since Trista Rehn received a ring from Ryan Sutter - the only couple from the show to wed. Will Jesse and DeAnna make it to the altar in a year?
