It seems like many fans are pulling for a Britney Spears comeback and the one-time pop princess is working hard to get her life on track after a horrific meltdown that was broadcast live on television and online. Others believe that little sister Jamie Lynn Spears might also be headed down that same path, and many wonder if enough is being done to give Britney and Jamie Lynn the help they need.

Is Britney's case that is not a problem as the pop tart has dad Jamie in control and laying down the law for the oldest of the Spears' sisters. And dad is tough, according to Life & Style Weekly he has developed a plan that includes, "Britney's Dad's Six Rules For Keeping Britney Safe."


To make sure his daughter stays on the road to recovery, Jamie Spears has a strict set of guidelines, the magazine claims. Rule 1 - No Drinking - Britney, once a heavy partier, now has only an occasional glass of champagne. But Dr. Drew Pinsky of VH1s Celebrity Rehab tells Life & Style, "If she's an addict, drinking any alcohol is not a good idea."

Rule 2 - Always Have a Chaperone - Jamie no longer sleeps at Britney's house, the report claims, but he does insist on accompanying her everywhere - to both social and work events.


Rule 3 - No E-Mail - Britney can text and make calls on her BlackBerry, but Jamie does not allow her to send e-mails from it, says a family friend.

Rule 4 - She Gets an Allowance - The report claims that to help conserve her reported $120 million fortune and teach her about spending responsibly, Britney's dad gives her $1,500 a month in spending money. Brit also has limited use of her American Express card for special purchases.


Rule 5 - Friends Need Approval - Jamie has veto power over every person Britney socializes with in order to keep negative forces.

Rule 6 - No Getting Behind the Wheel - The report claims that even though the accident-prone singer has a driver's license, but she gets chauffeured. "Jamie's not comfortable with her driving," says the family friend. "He doesn't think she's calm enough to handle being on the road."
