Tom Parker feels ''sorry'' for Britney Spears.

The Wanted singer recently met the US 'X Factor' judge but says he wasn't overly impressed because he thinks she's bored with fame.

Tom - who is joined in the band by Max George, Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran - said: ''Britney's beautiful and a nice girl, but when we met her, I expected her to have more personality. I feel sorry for her cos she's had a lot of stress in the last five years, and she's done so much from a young age. I guess it's the same with Nathan. He started young and I'm sure in 10 years, if we're still going, he's going to be like, 'When is this going to end?' ''

Tom also claimed that despite enjoying his job, being famous isn't always great.

He told TOTP magazine: ''Fame has its benefits, but it definitely has its negatives, too - like the amount of hours you have to work. Plus, everyone thinks I get to hang around with celebrities all day long, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. I wouldn't change things for the world though - I just love doing music.''
