Tiger Woods Divorce: Did Elin Nordegren Receive $100 Million?
Aug 27, 2010
Did Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren receive $100 million in the divorce that was finalized this week? She spoke with People Magazine in an interview, but didn't discuss specifics or dollar amounts.
However, that is the number many celebrity news outlets have settled on for the division of assets.
Of course, the numbers ran the gamut in wild tabloid reports leading up to the actual divorce, with one claiming the astonishing amount of $700 million for the wife who was cheated on by an unfaithful husband.
Meanwhile Tiger Woods, the admitted cheat and now ex-husband isn't talking.
Woods is on the golf course at The Barclays in New Jersey in the PGA playoffs and played the best round of the year on Thursday, and held a first-round lead. Some are already saying the divorce being finalized has helped his game.
Others think it may be swing coach Sean Foley. Woods answered a few personal questions on Wednesday, but expect little from Tiger about specifics of the split.
And don't expect a tell-all or an interview tour for Elin. Nordegren said she only plans to give this one interview and wants to keep her children out of the limelight.

She said: "My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal."
