Back in Australia, Tom Cruise and his young wife, the fabulous Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri spent a happy time reuniting in a Melbourne city park. The threesome, dressed in casual winter gear, made a touching family scene that was full of natural poses and joy rarely seen on the glam A-lister circuit of Hollywood.

They sat on the grass and let the wind sweep their hair. Katie clutched Cruise's hand as the pair helped Suri, 3, put on some lip gloss. Suri, who is never dollied up, put on the gloss for her adoring parents.


Holmes appeared doting and enraptured by her daughter, an irresistible combination of both mum and dad. Suri brought along her clear make-up tote, which her parents carried for her.

Holmes remains in Melbourne working on her low budget independent feature film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Cruise has been in Los Angeles, where his two adopted teens live with him.
