Stephen Moyer has said there is no competition between him and Robert Pattinson. Moyer, who stars in vampire TV series True Blood playing the character of Bill Compton, a 173-year-old vampire, is often compared to Pattinson who plays the lead vampire, Edward Cullen, in the huge film series Twilight, but the 39-year-old doesn't see the fellow Brit as competition.

In reply to if he thought Robert, 23, was competition, he said: "'No! "I could be his dad. I’d have had to have started young..." Moyer does however get into trouble for calling Pattinson's character Edward a "pussy - the SlimFast, Diet Coke of vampires."


Despite saying there is no competition between himself and Rob, Moyer does say there is a lot of difference between True Blood and Twilight. He added: "Our show's very different, of course, and has its place.

Although sometimes I'll get 10- or 11-year-olds coming up and asking for my autograph, and I say, "Have you seen that show?" and they go, "Yeah, love it." "I couldn’t sit in the same room as my mother and watch that show. I mean, it’s seriously racy."
