Twilight Saga: New Moon Movie Updates - Rob Pattinson Bare Confessions
By Sophie Eager
Nov 18, 2009
The opening for the Twilight Saga: New Moon is only days away and vampire hunk Robert Pattinson said he would consider doing full frontal nudity for a film role but it would depend on the movie. The 23-year-old actor plays the heartthrob vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga and admitted that he hasn't ruled out following in his Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe's footsteps and do a full nude scene.

He said to UK magazine Star: "I think it would depend on what it is. And I don't think a lot of people would really want to see that. I think it would ruin the illusion [Laughs]." However, Pattinson admitted that he did get nervous for his steamy scenes in the movie Little Ashes.

Asked how he prepared for the scenes, he said: "[Laughs.] I had so many ridiculous answers just come into my head, like: 'Well, I had a penis implant!' "I don't know, it's funny because Spanish people have no problem with nudity at all. I mean at all. And English people obviously do have the most enormous problem with it. "Little things, like when I saw my father getting changed for swimming, I got traumatised by it... I kind of freaked out a bit!"

Pattinson also has said his shirtless scene in his latest flick was 'nerve-wracking' as he was 'essentially doing a striptease'. Robert, 23, rips off his shirt in the middle of 2,000 people in the second chapter in the Twilight saga, which is released in cinemas on November 20.
Talking about the scene, he said to Parade.com: "I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off. I was essentially doing a striptease. "But here's the irony, it was also one of the moments where I've really felt closest to people's emotional attachment to Edward.

"There were so many extras in that scene who were Twilight fans who had flown in just to be a part of it. "It was a moment where I've felt the whole weight of anticipation, and I guess responsibility as well, of being Edward, for all the people who were kind of so obsessed with the stories. "It was quite uplifting and it was also very nerve-wracking."
