Tyler Perry is a kids hero! Actually it is 65 kids, and Tyler Perry is footing the entire bill for a trip to Disney World for the snubbed kids. According to a report from the New York Daily News that cites Tyler Perry's publicist, he's helping those young children from a "minority Pennsylvania day care center were turned away by a mostly white swim club."

"He wanted to do something nice for them and let them know that for every negative experience, there are people out there who want them to succeed regardless of the color of their skin," said Keleigh Thomas, Perry's publicist, according to a report from CNN News.


The news network notes "the entertainer would be footing the bill for all transportation, hotel, admissions and food costs at the Florida theme park." Very cool gesture as the situation sounded very ugly and quite surreal. What year is this again?

On the snub Tyler lashed out. "This made me so angry," Perry said on his website. "This is awful, and for anyone that has grown up in the inner-city, you know that one small act of kindness can change your life."
