Fame and New Moon have two of the male stars of the show looking for help. Robert Pattinson needs a phone number and Taylor Lautner has revealed that women in their 40s frequently ask him to sign their underwear. Talking about his fans, the 17-year-old actor, who stars as werewolf Jacob Black in the movie saga, the young man revealed the underwear request.

He said: "I've had women in their 40s come up to me and ask if I can sign their underwear! The weirdest thing is that their daughters are with them.” He added: "I'm at a signing and the mother and the daughter come up, and the mom is the one freaking out. The moms are crazier than the daughters, going: 'Taylor, I'm wearing your Team Taylor panties, can you sign 'em?'

"And the daughter's in the background, going: 'Urrghh, Mom!'" The second installment in the Twilight saga, New Moon, is due to be released on November 20.


Rob Pattinson has revealed that he would like Daniel Radcliffe's phone number, so that the Harry Potter star can give him tips on dealing with fame. Pattinson, 23, shot to fame after playing Cedric Diggory opposite Radcliffe in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire and, more recently, as Edward Cullen in the Twilight film saga.

Asked if he has spoken to Radcliffe, 20, since starring in the movie with him, he said: "I haven't. I don't actually have his phone number… "I'd quite like to talk to him about it [fame].

He has a very good method for coping with it all – well, from what I can see anyway. It seems like he stays completely grounded all the time."
