US Elections 2014 Results Tonight: Senate and House Races, How Many Seats Did Republicans Pick Up?

Will President Obama Have to Work with a Republican Senate?

The US elections are today (Nov. 4, 2014) and the results for many races for the House and Senate are coming in, it looks good for Republicans and not so much for Democrats.

How many seats will the Republicans pick up tonight?

Right now, the GOP has picked up three seats for the US Senate and they are hoping for an even bigger night and control of the Senate.

The wins at the 9:00 hour CST are in Arkansas, South Dakota and West Virginia.

ABC News quickly projected that Republicans will retain majority control of the House of Representatives, all that remains is the final margin.

Republicans have set a goal of 245 seats in the US House of Representatives, they have a shot at that goal.

USA Today has called the race in New Hampshire, an important win for Democrats, Jeanne Shaheen has defeated Scott Brown to keep that star in the Democrats columns.

In the state of Louisiana, CNN and Fox both project a run-off in their Senate Race between Bill Cassidy and Mary Landrieu.

That election will be held on Dec. 6, 2014.
