Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron are still going strong. So - how do they do it? Vanessa's off-set romance with costar Zac Efron is still going strong - the pair were spotted looking very lovey-dovey on the beach in the Turks and Caicos islands in July. And while they're not shy about PDAs, Vanessa insists, "I keep my relationship quiet, and I think that's why it works." She is also talking about High School Musical 3, which will be the first big screen version of the Disney movie series.

She she says she and her costars were "bawling our eyes out" after shooting the commencement ceremony for HSM 3: Senior Year. The movie is due to hit theaters on Oct. 24. "It's sad. This is our last time doing a movie together, and we love each other so much," she says in Teen Vogue's September issue, on newsstands Aug. 5.


While shooting for HSM3 recently wrapped, Vanessa isn't sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring. Her second album, Identified, hit shelves on June 24, and she's already landed a starring role in the movie Rock On (set for release next year). She doesn't play the popular girl in the dramedy. Vanessa describes her part as a "dark, dry girl who has no friends." Although some stars her age have struggled to keep fans happy while making the leap from all-American teen to edgy adult (hello, Hilary Duff), Vanessa isn't worried.

"Your fans are the ones who support your movies. Without them, your career is over. I'm turning 20 this year, so of course I'm going to have to grow up. But I'll do it when the time is right."
